Kick Start Your Journey Today

We are team Teez, and we're here to make your fitness journey a lot easier so you can achieve your goals even faster. Every day for the first year of our fitness journeys, we wondered what we were doing and felt like everything we did at the gym was wrong, and to make it worse, every time we went online to look anything up we had a question about. We'd leave feeling even more perplexed than before because there were so many different words, terms, and stuff.

We also find out that the friendly beginning content wasn't actually beginner friendly and that is part of the reason we started this blog to create all the content that we wish we had when we first started our fitness journey and to actually make it beginner friendly.

So, start your health and fitness journey. Here are 5 things To knew before started.

  1.  We wish someone had advised us to just be patient. We spent too long trying to find the fastest possible way for us to change our body to change our whole life and the quickest possible way for us to do this and the truth of the matter is you have to be careful with yourself emotionally and physically how can you really expect your body to change in a matter of weeks when you've spent a matter of years doing the same thing over and over again. Think about it this way, you've spent years doing the same thing time and time again that you now expect your mind and your body to change in a matter of three weeks because you say so it doesn't work like that be patient to yourself take your time and understand that this is a longevity journey. The minute you start rushing the process and the program it will not be sustainable it will not last everything and we repeat everything worth having takes time and it takes work we promise you that so please be patient with yourself.

  2. We wish somebody had convinced us that seeing the best progress possible isn't about how little calories we eat. If you eat less and exercise more, your input will be smaller than your output, and you will see results. But, will those results be sustainable? If the response is no, you need to start feeding your body and realizing that calories equal energy. Calories do not imply that you are doing something bad to yourself. Calories equal energy, and the moment you start thinking of calories as energy, you'll realize how important energy is for you to do the bare minimum in your life, such as walking, moving, and doing things you enjoy, such as playing with your children or even performing at work. So, how do you expect your body to progress in the gym during your training sessions if you're not fueling your body?

  3. We wish someone had warned us that eliminating carbs was not the answer to our problems; but, eliminating a food group completely can work for certain people, and it can work extremely well for others. It will produce results quickly, but is it sustainable? We tried cutting out carbs, fat, and the things we absolutely love, and we think people don't believe us when we say we've been there.

  4. Obviously, the exercise regimen and the foods you consume cause the body to become  used to those movements, so it's time to improve and maybe reconsider your fitness        programs. Look at the weights you're lifting; are you progressing with the weights            you're lifting? Because if you're not progressing with the weights you're lifting and            you're still doing the same thing over and over, change isn't going to happen; you need    to push yourself; you need to progressively overload; you need to try new things.

Avoid looking at the gym as a chore or something to check off your to-do list if you    want to improve your fitness and health. Start seeing it as therapy now; for a long time, we spent the majority of our time debating whether we wanted to train or not, and we saw  it as a chore, and really, how do you see your health and fitness as a chore, or as a to-do list item? Your health and fitness are fundamentally the most important thing. Take care of it and start enjoying it. No one will ever take away the thrill of crushing a workout, setting a new personal best, or accomplishing something extraordinary.

So, kick start your health and fitness journey. Work towards your goals, this is
your year , go out there and be a better you !!!

Let’s start it today, We'd also like to point out that, just as there isn't a perfect time to begin, there isn't a perfect place to begin. You can begin by doing workout while binge-watching Hulu in your pajamas.
